Building my villa took about a year, a period during which I returned to the Netherlands to catch up with family and friends. It was during this time that I met the man who would become my husband. He wasn't keen on moving to Bali due to his work commitments, so I decided to adapt my plans.
I managed the completion of the villa remotely while traveling the world with my (now) husband. Instead of using the villa as a personal residence, I opted for long-term rentals. This decision went against the common advice of choosing short-term rentals for higher returns, but it suited my situation better, especially since I wouldn't be living in Bali.
I hired a reliable villa management team to oversee the property and was fortunate to find great long-term tenants who have taken excellent care of the villa.
Now, life has taken another exciting turn. Besides getting married in Mexico, we're now also parents of a beautiful baby girl! We are not seeing ourselves living in Bali (multiple reasons) and we want to build our own home somewhere else. Hence we want to sell Our Bali Villa.
While my initial plans for living in Bali have changed, the villa stands as a successful project and a reminder of a pivotal chapter in my life. I hope it will do the same for the future buyer.
